18 Easy Gifts For Travel Bloggers This Holiday Season
Have a travel blogger in your life who needs a gift? Whether gear for work, office supplies, or memorabilia, there’s tons of options out there.
I am a travel blogger myself, I own many of the items linked below and have even been gifted a few of them.
These are some of the top gifts for travel bloggers.
Gifts For Travel Bloggers: Blogging & Content Creator Gifts
Tripod
A tripod is extremely helpful for content creation. Consider a simple tripod for indoor use or more of a sturdy tripod for professional photography.
The tripod in the center, below, is the same one I have. It’s great for basic, indoor use.
The tripod on the left is great for outdoor use, and the one on the right is great for uneven surfaces and difficult angles.
Microphone
Microphones are very helpful for travel bloggers who create video content or podcasts.
A small microphone is great for creating TikToks or Instagram reels. Whereas a larger microphone is great for YouTubers and podcast hosts.
External Hard Drive
Storing photos and videos is a major challenge for most bloggers. We take thousands of photos and need a way to organize and store them.
I love external hard drives in addition to cloud based storage.
I use the large WD external hard drive (below) for permanently storing photos and videos. Whereas the small flash drive is for quick photo storage while traveling.
If the travel blogger in your life primarily uses Apple products, an Apple external drive is your best option: Apple External Drives (search External Hard Drive).
Camera
Cameras are very important for content creators.
Fortunately, today’s smart phones have incredible cameras, but some will need a step up for higher resolution photos and videos.
Also, a GoPro is an especially fun gift for adventure-based travel bloggers.
Canon Content Creator Kit
Prefer to bundle?
Canon has made it super easy with their all-in-one Canon Content Creator Kit.
This is a fool proof camera for content creators just starting out. The camera is beginner friendly, shoots video in 4K, and comes with a microphone and remote.
Check out pricing and more information at: Canon EOS R50 Content Creator Kit.
With this you’ll also want to gift additional battery packs, and a memory card.
You can find these at: Batteries & Charger For Canon EOS and 128 GB Memory Card.
Drone Or Drone Alternative
For the travel blogger in your life looking for aerial shots, a drone is a must.
The DJI Mini 3 Fly More Combo drone is perfect for travel bloggers thanks to high quality videos, small size, and light weight.
This is a gift that would make any travel blogger very happy.
As an additional option, consider the Insta 360 with extended selfie stick. This is great for aerial-like shots where drones are prohibited.
Renew Their Paid Blogging Tools
Bloggers use tools like keyword planners, social media planners, photo editors, plug-ins for site efficiency, and so on.
Many are free, but just as many require a fee.
It’s likely the travel blogger you know is paying an annual or monthly fee for at least one or two software programs.
A great gift is offering to pay their renewal.
It’d be hard to gift this as a surprise, it’s likely you’ll need to talk about which tools they pay for and when renewal fees are dues. But, trust me, this gift is very appreciated, especially for bloggers just starting out.
Office Accessories
Office accessories can be a great gift for travel bloggers.
Travel bloggers in their early years may have a make-shift office (like me!). Below are the items I have in my office, many are the exact ones I use.
The laptop stand is essential for me, without it I’m hunched over throughout the day, causing neck pain. With the laptop stand you’ll also need a portable mouse and keyboard, plus a USB port expander.
A USB to USB C adapter is also helpful for moving iPhone photos onto the computer.
MacBook Pro is the first laptop I got when I began blogging. I got the 14″ M3 with 8GB Unified Memory.
This laptop is great for starting, however it doesn’t have much storage.
If buying a new laptop today, I’d get the 14″ M3 Pro with 18GB Unified Memory and 1TB SSD Storage. Or, at the very least, the 14″ M3 with 8GB Unified Memory plus 1TB SSD Storage.

For travel bloggers who have a home office, these are additional items which may be helpful to have.
A large monitor is one of the best home office investments for a travel blogger. Working on a small laptop screen can be frustrating due to the small, cramped display.
The large Mac Display acts like a dual monitor, which is very helpful for bloggers.
Additionally, a monitor stand and desk pad are great to have, along with storage and desktop organizers.
Plus, of course, a comfortable office chair is essential. The one linked below is both comfortable and affordable.
For travel bloggers with a standing desk, consider gifting an under-desk walking pad.

Gifts For Travel Bloggers: Travel Gifts
World Map
A large wall map is a fun gift for any travel lover.
There’s tons of options out there such as scratch off maps, canvas maps, and purely decorative maps.
Browse wall art world maps on Amazon or wall art world maps on Etsy.
I use a canvas map with push pins and really love it. Below I’ve linked a canvas map similar to mine, unfortunately my exact map is no longer made.
Photo Book Or Commemorative Art Work
Another fun idea is to put together custom memorabilia for the travel blogger in your life.
This is a unique way to memorialize a special trip or once-in-a-lifetime vacation.
Shutterfly offers all sorts of custom products, like photo books, wall art, canvas prints, and more. All for a very reasonable price.

Books
Books can be a great gift for travel bloggers.
Whether guidebooks, coffee table books, or destination-inspired novels, there’s countless excellent options.
Shop books at your local bookstore, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and more.
If gifting a guidebook, it’s worth comparing physical books and e-books. Some love a physical book, while others find e-books more practical to travel with.
Personally, I prefer e-books for everyday reads and traveling. But I enjoy having physical books at home to remember a special destination or inspire future travel.

Luggage, Packing Organizers, & Airport Gear
Good luggage, packing organizers, and airport gear are essential for travel bloggers and their busy schedules.
I have hardshell luggage in various sizes, a good travel backpack, packing cubes, toiletry bags, and electronics organizer. All of these make packing very simple.
I also travel with a reusable water bottle, portable charger, Bose noise cancelling headphones, and hand sanitizer.
Below is the travel gear I use, or similar variations of it:

Toiletry Bags & Mini Toiletries
As a frequent traveler, it’s great to have a toiletry bag full of mini toiletries.
Having a separate set of toiletries always packed and ready to go can significantly cut down on packing time.
I keep my toiletry bag full with miniature versions of every bathroom item I need, including brush, deodorant, make up remover, etc.
Putting together a mini toiletry kit can be a great gift for the travel blogger in your life.
Below are some ideas of what to buy.
I’ve linked a hanging toiletry bag. I personally love these, but they take up a lot of room in your luggage, so these aren’t the best for all types of travelers.
The one I linked below (in light blue) is relatively compact and light weight, it also comes with a separate TSA-approved clear bag.

Luggage Scale
A great accessory for frequent travelers is a luggage scale.
These small (5 x 2 x 1 inches), digital scales are perfect for ensuring your luggage is under weight before getting to the airport.
I’ve used these mini scales on gear-heavy trips and they’ve been very helpful.
This is the luggage scale I used: Amazon Luggage Scale.
Passport Holder
Passport holders are very convenient for frequent international travelers.
The covers allow you to protect your passport and store cards all in one place. Plus, they can be a fun way to personalize your gear.
Shop passport covers on Amazon or passport covers on Etsy.
Filtered Water Bottle
A filtered water bottle is incredibly handy to travel with.
Reusable water bottles not only cut down on waste, but they’re also very convenient on travel days.
A basic water bottle is perfectly fine, but a filtered one is great as well. This is especially the case for frequent international travelers who may be concerned about water quality.
Life Straw is the go-to brand for filtered water bottles, I’ve linked two of their popular options below:
Resistance Bands
Working out while traveling can be difficult for many.
Access to gyms can be unpredictable, and hectic travel schedules make it difficult to squeeze in a proper work out.
For these reasons, I travel with resistance bands. They’re extremely lightweight and compact, not to mention inexpensive. These allow me to work out no matter where I am.
These are the items I use:
- Long Resistance Bands for arms and core.
- Loop Resistance Bands for legs.
Gift Cards
Last but not least, consider giving a gift card for Christmas this year.
No, this is not the most exciting gift, but it’s always appreciated.
Some easy gift card ideas for travelers are:
- Amazon
- An airline (choose the airline they frequent most, mine is Southwest, for example).
- Airbnb
- Visa Gift Card (or cash)
As you can see, there’s so many gifts for travel bloggers. I hope you’ve found this list helpful, and enjoy the Christmas and holiday season!
