Attend One Of Waterdrinker Family Farm’s Festivals

The farm is most known for it’s fantastic festivals held throughout the year. If you wish to experience Waterdrinker at it’s peak, I recommend visiting during one of their popular events. Their annual celebrations include the Tulip Festival, Golden Egg Hunt, Sunflower Festival, Fall Festival, and Winter Wonderland.

Tip: No matter which event you plan to attend, be sure to arrive early and bring your patience. Each festival is very popular and attracts a lot of visitors.

Below I’ve included information regarding each festival. Keep an eye out on Waterdrinker Farm for any updates.

Tulip Festival

The tulip festival is one of the farm’s best events with one million bulbs planted throughout the farm. You’re free to wander through the field of tulips and take as many photos as you wish!

Of course the flowers are the festival’s main draw, but it’s the games and entertainment that will keep you here for hours. After you’ve taken 1,000 photos of the flowers, enjoy the farm’s live music and many activities for children and adults alike.

The festival is held roughly mid April to early May and the tulips only bloom for a few weeks. It’s all up to Mother Nature, so exact start and end dates will vary and may not be announced until last minute.

This is one of the farm’s most popular festivals and a must-visit!

Sunflower Festival

Sunflowers and wildflowers are aplenty during the farm’s Sunflower Festival held late each summer.

Walk through the fields of sunflowers, enjoy a tractor ride, or spend the afternoon playing games! You can even cut sunflowers to take home.

Be sure to check out their sunflower sunset sessions for really gorgeous photos.

This festival is normally held mid July through September.

Fall Festival

Pumpkin Patch? Corn Maze? Hay Rides? Games? Live Music? Yep, the Waterdrinkers’ Fall Festival has just about any fall activity you can dream up.

Come find your perfect pumpkin and enjoy a day spent at the farm.

The Fall Festival runs during the month of October.

Winter Wonderland

The Winter Wonderland festival is a holiday market with winter activities such as an ice skating rink, gingerbread village, light display, and wreath decoration station. You can even buy your Christmas tree here.

The Winter Wonderland festival is held annually throughout the holiday season and is one of the farm’s most popular events. If you wish to purchase a tree they are 7′ – 8′ tall, precut, and just over $100 per tree.

How Much Time Do You Need Here?

You could spend anywhere from an hour to half a day here. The farm is catered towards families, so those with kids will likely stay longer.

As two adults, we spent about an hour here during the tulip festival.

The Greenhouse

Following your visit be sure to check out the Waterdrinker Greenhouse. Here you can buy plants, flowers, bulbs, and unique gifts. The greenhouse is located right next to the farm and brewery, you can’t miss it. There’s no admission required to enter.
