A spa day is a perfect way to relax during your bachelorette party weekend in Vegas.

Luckily, there’s plenty of world-class spas on the Strip. Spend a relaxing afternoon (or full day) pampering the bride squad with massages, full body wraps, facials, or sauna time.

There are many great spas to choose from, among the top in Vegas are:

• The Spa at ARIA
• The Spa at Wynn & Encore Las Vegas

Additionally, it’s worth looking into group packages at your resort.

Pool Party

Ah, Las Vegas pool parties. They’re among the best in the world. 

Pool parties here are far from average, think nightclub — poolside. 

Bottle service is the norm, cabanas provide the only shade, and women are in heels with full-face makeup. 

Some of the best pool parties and day clubs in Vegas are: Marquee Dayclub, Encore Beach Club, Wet Republic, Drai’s Beach Club, and TAO Beach Club… among others! 

These are the top dogs in terms of actual pool parties, but there are plenty of pools which are really fun and not nearly as rowdy. 

Normally I enjoy lounging at the pool of whichever hotel I’m staying at. However, when planning things to do in Las Vegas for a bachelorette party, a pool party is definitely a top contender.

Fancy Dinner

Something to consider for your Vegas bachelorette is a fancy dinner.

Foodies will have no problem finding a perfect place to dine here, especially those looking for an upscale restaurant. Here you can find Michelin-star restaurants, James Beard awards, and a dizzying number of celebrity chef restaurants.

Try to go for at least one nice dinner during your stay, and follow up with a fancy cocktail or two.

Don’t forget reservations!

It’s not as intimidating as you might imagine. You don’t have to be suggestive, it’s just a fun, dance-like class. Not to mention, a good work out.

We did pole dancing lessons for a friend’s bachelorette party and had a blast. It was a great ice breaker and got everyone excited for the night out.

Take A Photo In Front Of The “Welcome To Las Vegas Sign”

A fun thing to do in Vegas for a bachelorette party is to take a photo at the famous “Welcome To Fabulous Las Vegas” sign. 

This sign sits at the south end of the Strip, welcoming visitors to Vegas. It’s large and makes for a great backdrop.

However, the area gets really busy, expect to wait in line for a photo. I’d recommend doing this one early in the morning or be prepared for large crowds. 

See A Show 

Magic Mike Live, Thunder Down Under, and Chippendales are male revues popular for bachelorette parties in Vegas.

I attended one and thought it was so cheesy and over the top. However, if you’re going to do it, a bachelorette party is definitely the time. 

If you’re looking for something along this line, but a bit more laid-back, RuPaul’s Drag Race Live! is supposed to be an excellent show.

If none of these are your style, there’s plenty other shows to consider.

You can find circus arts, comedy, live music, dance, magic shows, and so much more. There’s an incredible variety of talent in Vegas.

Be warned, the price tag might shock you, but individual drinks and cover charge alone are very expensive. Bottle service will save you over the night and gets you in the club without standing in crazy lines. 

Note: Large groups of ladies may be able to get into clubs for free via promoters. It’s worth a shot, but know this isn’t always possible at big name clubs over weekends.

Bottomless Mimosa Brunch 

Not able to attend drag brunch this time? No worries, there are plenty of other bottomless mimosa brunches throughout Vegas.

Venues range from casual buffet-style to upscale, and some are just downright rowdy.

Of course, no matter where you go, expect to pair champagne with a delicious breakfast.

Seven Magic Mountains

About 15 minutes from the strip you’ll find seven stacks of large, colorful boulders standing around 30 feet tall. It’s a really cool art exhibit and makes for great photos.

Created by Ugo Rondinone, the large scale display was installed in 2016 and scheduled to be on display for just two years. However, due to huge popularity the exhibit has been repeatedly extended.

This is a good one to check out on your way into town, or if possible, early in the morning to avoid crowds.

The exhibit is free to all visitors.

Downtown Las Vegas 

Downtown is the historic heart of Las Vegas.

The area offers a different experience compared to the Strip. It has a unique charm, nostalgic feel, and a focus on the city’s history.

Whether you’re looking for gambling, dining, museums, or shopping, Downtown Las Vegas has something to offer.

Today it’s a 5 block pedestrian mall, jam-packed with casinos and bars.

It features entertainment like a massive LED light and sound show, plus ziplining above the walkway.

The area is smaller and more condensed than the Strip. This makes it easier to bar hop and browse the casinos.

While it’s still very vibrant, it’s definitely more laid-back than the Strip.

Helicopter Tour 

Always wanted to see the Strip from above? For those willing to splurge, a helicopter ride over the Strip is a must!

The vast Nevada desert surrounding the Strip’s vibrant, towering hotels is simply gorgeous. It’s safe to say, witnessing the Las Vegas skyline at night is something you won’t be soon to forget.

There are many reputable tour companies. Those wishing to fly during sunset or at night need to book in advance. Groups will need to arrange this excursion well in advance.

High Roller Observation Wheel Happy Half Hour

One of the most fun things to do in Las Vegas is to ride the High Roller, especially for a Vegas bachelorette party. 

The High Roller is North America’s tallest observation wheel (and the world’s second tallest) located on the LINQ Promenade, just steps from the Strip.

The High Roller offers excellent views of the Las Vegas skyline and surrounding desert. One “ride” takes 30 minutes, the wheel moves at a very slow and comfortable pace.

Sunset and nighttime tours are most loved, and it’s worth considering their Happy Half Hour deal.

This “happy hour” includes unlimited alcohol during the duration of your excursion. Definitely a unique way to pre-game during your bachelorette party.

Whether or not you book a ride, consider checking out the LINQ Promenade. The promenade has excellent views of the observation wheel, in addition to shops, restaurants and bars… Even ziplining! It’s a lovely area to hang out. 

Bar Crawl

Is there a more classic way to celebrate the bride than with a bar crawl?

Bar crawls are a bit difficult to pull off on the Strip, just because everything is so spread out.

However, Downtown Las Vegas is a fabulous setting for a night of bar hopping.

Areas with a large concentration of bars are: East Fremont, Arts District, and Fremont Street Experience. I’d start on either East Fremont or the Arts District, then make your way towards the Fremont Street Experience as the night goes on.

Bonus: Plan a Vegas bachelorette scavenger hunt to keep everyone laughing during the bar crawl.  

Casino Hop

I can’t mention bar hopping without bringing up casino hopping. For the bride squad who’d rather gamble than hit the club, consider a casino hop.

As mentioned above, the Strip is pretty spread out (simply because the hotels are so massive). But a casino hop is a bit easier to pull off, as long as you’re in the right area.

There’s a large concentration of casinos from (roughly) Excalibur all the way down to The Venetian.

Personally, my favorite area is around Bellagio/ Paris/ Flamingo/ Caesars/ Harrah’s. It’s easy to navigate between casinos here without wasting tons of time walking.

Of course, Downtown Las Vegas, around the Fremont Street Experience, is also a great option.

A huge plus? Drinks are free for those who are gambling. Just be sure to tip the cocktail waitress.

Warning: If you’re going to do a casino hop, comfortable shoes are an absolute must, trust me.

Food Tour

Food tours in Las Vegas offer a yummy way to experience the city’s always-evolving culinary scene.

Walk The Strip  

Walking the Strip is one of the most famous things to do in Vegas, and a must during your bachelorette weekend.

Colorful lights, massive resorts with elaborate themes, and street performers are what you can expect here. It’s a great way to get a vibe for what Vegas is all about.

The Strip stretches just over 4 miles along Las Vegas Boulevard South. It starts at the “Welcome To Fabulous Las Vegas” sign and extends to the Stratosphere Tower in the north. The most famous stretch runs (roughly) from Excalibur to The Venetian.

It’s worth walking the Strip both during the day and at night. It’s a very different experience each time.

Drive The Strip

Another fun way to see the Strip is by car.

Leave the driving (and traffic) to someone else, this way you can really enjoy the scene.

Entertaining options include a Limo Tour of The Strip (best for large groups) or a Double Decker Bus Tour.

If you do want to drive yourself, a Pink Hog Car Tour is a really fun way to go.

A few tips for setting up your Vegas bachelorette decorations:

Have a general plan regarding decor set up before you arrive. Additionally, do as much as possible before landing in Vegas. For example, if you have hangover kits, make them in advance, etc.

Most importantly, recruit the bridal party to help you, especially when it comes to setting up room decor. Doing the decor alone will be a time consuming process.

If you want helium-inflated balloons, there’s a Party City about 10 miles from the Strip. Order and schedule pick up in advance, and don’t underestimate how long it takes to get there and back in traffic. They do also have balloon delivery, I’ve never tried it, but it could be very helpful.

Below are items to hang decorations at the hotel. All are paint-friendly and should leave no damage or residue. However, be sure to test a small patch first.

Of course, any decoration you put up, needs to come down before leaving the hotel. Otherwise you may incur fees.

With a large group, it’s really important to stay somewhere central. Getting on and off the Strip, or into Downtown Vegas, is time consuming. Trying to move 10 tipsy ladies is going to be a real project.

Save yourself the headache and stay in a central location. 

The most famous stretch of the Las Vegas Strip runs (roughly) from Excalibur to The Wynn/Encore. Just about any hotel within this range will be great for bachelorette parties.

Below are a few tips for your Las Vegas bachelorette party:

• Be sure everyone in the group has their ID on them throughout the trip. Vegas casinos and bars ID frequently, regardless of your age.
• With a large group, plan as much as possible before arriving. Dinner reservations, club reservations, excursions, transportation, etc. should all be booked in advance. Vegas can be very fun and spontaneous, but without planning, it can be difficult to corral a large group here.
• Plan with the bride and attendees taste in mind. This goes for general entertainment and spending. Not all brides want cheeky balloons and Chippendales, and not all attendees want $300 steak dinners. Have these conversations beforehand to ensure the whole group, and most importantly the bride, enjoys the special trip. 
• Stock up on snacks, water, and other drinks at Walgreen or CVS, there are many locations on the Strip. Having these items in the room will save you time and money.
• Remember, everything is further away than it seems here. The casino next door could easily take 20 minutes to get to, whether walking or in a cab.
• Speaking of cabs, cabs and ride shares are everywhere. They’re incredibly efficient and relatively affordable. Of course, there’s nothing they can do about traffic on the Strip, but rest assured, you can quickly access a ride here.
• There is also public transportation. The Monorail is a great way to get between hotels.
• Bring comfortable shoes and plan for a lot of walking. Even if utilizing ride share and public transit.
• Be safe, have an open mind, trust your gut, have fun!
