To help narrow down the options, I’ve rounded up some of the most iconic bachelorette party destinations in the United States, along with what each destination does best, when to visit, and where to stay.
Iconic Bachelorette Party Destinations In The United States

Best For: Nightlife, pool parties, large groups, brides who want a high-energy celebration
Las Vegas has long been one of the most popular bachelorette party destinations in the United States, and for good reason. If the bride-to-be is looking for a weekend packed with nightlife, pool parties, entertainment, great restaurants, and plenty of opportunities to celebrate, it’s hard to beat Vegas.

Some bachelorette parties spend their days relaxing at resort pools and spas before heading out for a nice dinner and a show, while others focus on nightclubs, casinos, and late nights on the Strip. If your group wants a destination that feels exciting and larger than life, Las Vegas is an easy choice.

If your group wants a destination that’s fun without feeling overly hectic, Savannah is well worth considering.
Best Time To Visit: Spring and fall offer the most pleasant weather. Summers can be very hot and humid, especially during the afternoon.
Where To Stay: The Historic District is the best place to stay, allowing your group to walk to many of Savannah’s most popular restaurants, bars, and attractions. Check out JW Marriott or the Bellwether House.

Scottsdale, Arizona

Scottsdale has become one of the most popular bachelorette destinations in the country thanks to its luxury resorts, sunny weather, excellent restaurants, and lively nightlife. It’s especially popular with groups looking for a trip that feels equal parts relaxing and celebratory.
Many bachelorette parties spend their days at resort pools, enjoying spa treatments, shopping in Old Town Scottsdale, or grabbing brunch before heading out for dinner and drinks. If your group wants a destination with plenty of amenities and a polished, upscale feel, Scottsdale is hard to beat.
Best Time To Visit: Spring and fall offer the most comfortable temperatures. Winter offers mild, pleasant temperatures, though it may be too cold for the pool. Summers are extremely hot.

Best For: Foodies, Southern charm, coastal getaways, shopping
Charleston is one of the most charming destinations on this list. Known for its historic architecture, incredible food scene, boutique shopping, and waterfront setting, it’s another great choice for groups looking for a more relaxed vibe but still plenty of things to do.

Napa Valley is one of the most iconic wine destinations in the world and a fantastic choice for groups looking for a more relaxed bachelorette weekend. Between the vineyard views, wine tastings, luxury resorts, and excellent restaurants, it’s easy to see why Napa remains such a popular choice year after year.
Most bachelorette groups spend their days visiting wineries, enjoying long lunches, relaxing at the spa, or exploring charming towns like Yountville and St. Helena. While there are certainly bars and nightlife options, Napa is much more about slowing down and enjoying the experience than packing your schedule with activities.
Best Time To Visit: Spring and fall are especially popular, though Napa can be enjoyed year-round. Harvest season typically runs from August through October and tends to be one of the busiest times to visit.
Where To Stay: Yountville is a great central base for first-time visitors, while Napa and St. Helena also offer excellent hotel and resort options. Bardessono Hotel & Spa is a stunning resort in Yountville.

Nashville, Tennessee
Best For: Live music, nightlife, high-energy trips
Few destinations are as closely associated with bachelorette parties as Nashville. If the bride-to-be loves live music, rooftop bars, and a lively atmosphere, this Tennessee city is an easy choice.
Broadway is the main attraction, with its famous honky tonks and live music venues, but there’s much more to Nashville than just the downtown party scene. You’ll also find great restaurants, trendy neighborhoods, boutique hotels, and plenty of bachelorette-friendly activities. If your group wants a weekend that feels fun and energetic from start to finish, Nashville delivers.
Best Time To Visit: Spring and fall offer the best combination of weather and events, though Nashville stays busy throughout much of the year.

Holston House Nashville is in a central location on Broadway and large enough that it can easily accommodate groups, while W Nashville is a fun spot to stay in the Gulch.

Miami is a great choice for groups looking to combine beach days with a lively nightlife scene. Between the beautiful beaches, rooftop bars, luxury hotels, beach clubs, and incredible dining options, it’s easy to fill an entire weekend here.
While Miami certainly has a reputation for nightlife, there’s plenty to do beyond the clubs. If your group wants sunshine and plenty of energy, Miami is hard to beat.

Palm Springs has become a favorite bachelorette destination for groups seeking a more relaxed alternative to Scottsdale or Las Vegas. Known for its boutique hotels, spa resorts, pool culture, and mountain views, it’s an easy place to slow down and enjoy a long weekend with friends.
Most groups spend their days lounging by the pool, visiting local spas, shopping downtown, or enjoying brunch and cocktails in the sunshine. While there are certainly bars and nightlife options, Palm Springs is more about relaxing and recharging than staying out until 2 am.

If the bride-to-be loves big cities, New York is nearly impossible to beat. Between the world-class restaurants, rooftop bars, Broadway shows, shopping, museums, and endless entertainment options, you could visit dozens of times and still find something new to do.
Your group can spend the day shopping in SoHo, exploring Central Park, visiting museums, or catching a Broadway show before heading out for dinner and drinks. If you’re looking for a destination with a huge variety of options to build that perfect weekend, New York is an excellent choice.
Best Time To Visit: New York is a year-round destination, though spring and fall offer the best weather, while summer has an unbeatable energy to it.

New Orleans, Louisiana
Best For: Foodies, nightlife, live music, unique experiences
There really isn’t another destination quite like New Orleans. Known for its incredible food, live music, historic architecture, and vibrant nightlife, it’s a city that feels completely different from anywhere else in the United States.
While Bourbon Street often gets the most attention, there’s much more to New Orleans than the party scene. Groups can spend their days exploring historic neighborhoods, taking a cooking class, enjoying a jazz brunch, or sampling some of the city’s famous restaurants before heading out for live music and cocktails in the evening. If the bride-to-be wants a destination with plenty of personality, New Orleans is hard to beat.

Best Time To Visit: Spring and fall generally offer the most pleasant weather. Winter is mild while summers can be extremely hot and humid.

Key West, Florida
Best For: Tropical vibes, waterfront bars, warm weather getaway
If you’re looking for an island getaway without leaving the United States, Key West is a fantastic option. Known for its colorful streets, waterfront restaurants, sunset celebrations, and lively bar scene, it offers a fun atmosphere without feeling quite as fast-paced as Miami.
Most visitors spend their days out on the water, relaxing by the pool, exploring Old Town, or enjoying fresh seafood before heading to Duval Street for drinks and live music.
Best Time To Visit: Winter and spring offer the most comfortable temperatures and generally the driest weather.
Where To Stay: Old Town is the most popular area for visitors thanks to its walkability, historic charm, restaurants, and nightlife. The Duval House is one of many great options here.

Lake Tahoe, California/Nevada
Best For: Outdoorsy groups, lake vacations, mountain scenery, active travelers
Lake Tahoe is one of the best bachelorette destinations in the country for groups that love spending time outdoors. Surrounded by mountains and known for its crystal-clear water, Tahoe offers a completely different experience than the cities and coastal destinations on this list.
Summer is all about boating, kayaking, paddleboarding, hiking, and relaxing by the lake, while winter brings skiing, snowboarding, and other snow sports. The Nevada side also offers casinos and nightlife for groups looking to mix a little Vegas-style-entertainment into their trip. If your ideal bachelorette weekend includes adventure, beautiful scenery, and plenty of time outside, Lake Tahoe is an excellent choice.

Austin, Texas
Best For: Live music, foodies, nightlife

Your group can spend the day kayaking on Lady Bird Lake, exploring South Congress, or enjoying the city’s food scene before heading out for live music and drinks in the evening. If you’re looking for a destination that feels fun and casual rather than overly polished, Austin is a great fit.
Best Time To Visit: This is a year-round destination. Although spring and fall generally offer the most comfortable temperatures, while summer is very hot but still popular.

Whether your group wants beach days, rooftop cocktails, outdoor adventures, or a little bit of everything, you’ll find plenty of ways to fill a long weekend here.
Spend the morning exploring La Jolla’s coastline, relax at the beach in the afternoon, then head out for dinner and drinks in the evening. Unlike destinations that revolve exclusively around nightlife or one specific attraction, San Diego offers a well-rounded experience that works for a wide variety of travel styles.
Best Time To Visit: San Diego is a year-round destination thanks to its mild climate.
Where To Stay: The Gaslamp Quarter is a great choice for nightlife and restaurants, while Pacific Beach, Coronado Island, or Mission Beach offer a more beach-focused experience. The US Grant is a popular stay in the Gaslamp and Hotel del Coronado is an iconic stay on Coronado Island.
