Read on for the top things to do in Miami for a bachelorette party, plus, everything to know about planning a bachelorette weekend here.
Rest assured, the bride tribe is guaranteed to have a good time in the Magic City.

The Best Things To Do In Miami For A Bachelorette Party
Hit The Beach
While in Miami, you’ll want to take advantage of the white sand beaches and turquoise water by spending at least one day (or the entire weekend) lounging by the ocean.
For the most low-stress beach experience, book a hotel with a private beach. Not only will the beach be steps from your room, but there will also be a lounge chair and umbrella waiting for you.
If you prefer to be right in the action, Lummus Park off of Ocean Drive is for you.
Here you’ll find the colorful, Instagram-famous lifeguard stands and plenty of bars hosting all day parties.
If you’re looking for something a little more low-key, check out Mid-Beach, Surfside, or Bal Harbour, just to name a few.
You’ll find Miami has no shortage of quality beaches.
Popular Beach Activities in Miami:
To be clear, lounging and day drinking at the beach is 100% acceptable during a bachelorette weekend. But if you’ve got a crew that loves outdoor activities, consider the following activities (rentals and tours are all linked):
- Jet skiing
- Windsurfing
- Snorkeling
- Banana Boat Ride (seriously)
- Flyboarding

Tour Little Havana
If the dictionary had pictures, you’d find a picture of Little Havana sitting next to ‘vibrant’.
With Calle Ocho at its center, this cultural marvel offers anything from Cuban coffee and cigars, to Latin clubs and theaters, and of course, the infamous Dominoes Park.
There’s so many great things to see in Miami’s Little Havana.
Things To Do In Little Havana
- Browse the Calle Ocho Walk of Fame.
- Eat delicious Cuban food (don’t forget dessert and a strong Cuban coffee!).
- Enjoy delicious drinks, live music, and free salsa dancing lessons at Ball & Chain.
- Explore Dominoes Park.
Little Havana Food Tour
Visit some of the most beloved family-owned Cuban restaurants in Little Havana with a food tour!
Sample the local cuisine, like guava pastries, chicken plantain cups, and flan ice cream. All while learning about Little Havana’s unique history and important role in the Miami community.
Check out this popular food tour in Little Havana: Little Havana Food & Walking Tour.

Explore Wynwood Walls
Wynwood Walls is a great spot to check out during your bachelorette party weekend.
This outdoor museum showcases huge, colorful graffiti murals by artists from all around the world.
Ten years ago the founder, the late Tony Goldman, saw Wynwood’s surplus of window-less warehouse walls and imagined giant canvases for the underappreciated street art scene. Since then, Wynwood Walls has featured over 50 artists from 16 different countries.
It’s a pretty incredible way to utilize a previously underwhelming corner of Miami, if you ask me.
Tickets are $12/ adult and should be reserved in advance, especially for a large group. Secure reservations at: Wynwood Walls.
Tip: While you’re in the area, grab a coffee and baked goods from the local’s favorite, Panther Coffee.

Go For A Sunset Cruise In Miami
For a special experience to celebrate the bride-to-be, sail through the calm water’s of Miami’s Biscayne Bay.
This is not only a great way to catch the sunset, but it also provides excellent views of downtown Miami and Biscayne Bay — we even swam during our charter.
The sunset sail was a great experience and the highlight of our Miami bachelorette party weekend!
You’ll find many reputable companies offering a variety of tour options.
We chose a private sunset sail, similar to this one: Private Sunset Cruise Miami. There are so many options though, suitable for various budgets.
Also, if traveling with a large group, a private charter is probably way more affordable than you’d think.
Tip: Arrange a private charter that allows you to bring your own food and alcohol aboard.
If a charter isn’t your thing but you still want to get out on the water for some sunset cocktails, check out this booze cruise: 3 Hour All Inclusive Booze Cruise.
Prefer something a little more chill? Check out So Flo Water Adventures for a nighttime paddle along the Miami River, which offers great views of the skyline.

Enjoy A Spa Day For Your Bachelorette Party In Miami
Relax and unwind during your girls weekend with a spa day. Enjoy a spa treatment such as a facial, massage, or mani and pedi.
Most Miami resorts offer spa services, so you don’t even need to leave your hotel.
All hotels I’ve linked at the bottom of the post have spas.
Dance The Night Away In A Miami Club
Following dinner at a trendy restaurant, hit the clubs for a night on the dance floor in Miami. M2 Miami, Club Space, E11EVEN, and LIV are some of the most popular clubs in Miami.
Keep in mind that bottle service is common at these mega-clubs, and one of the only guaranteed ways to get in.
Without it, expect a large per-person door fee on top of drinks. Yes, even for ladies.
Tips For Visiting The Top Clubs In Miami:
- For the hottest clubs, reservations or bottle service is required in advance. Be cautious about wasting precious hours of your bachelorette party waiting in line.
- Making friends with a promoter will be helpful if you wish to get in without paying. Getting in this way isn’t guaranteed but it’s certainly do-able for a large group of women.
- If waiting in line is your only option, be sure to arrive early. 11 pm is opening time for most clubs in Miami.
- Be aware that most mega-clubs have a dress code for men and women.
Dance The Night Away… But Not In A Club
Not into the club scene? No worries! Miami is a big city with diverse nightlife options.
For something more chill check out these (relatively) low-key nightlife options:
- Broken Shaker
- Lost Boy
- Bodega Taqueria y Tequila
- Mama Tried
- The Sylvester
- Mac’s Club Deuce
- The Abbey Brewing Co.
- Sweet Liberty
These options all have craft cocktails, cold drinks, dance floors, and DJs — just on a smaller scale. Perfect for a night out with your best friends.

Visit The Miami Beach Botanical Gardens
Thanks to Miami’s tropical climate, you’ll find beautiful and lush plant life growing in abundance.
Miami Beach Botanical Garden is a free attraction located right in the heart of town. Among the fountains and ponds are hundreds of plants such as orchids, philodendrons, and flowering trees.
This is one of the best things to do for a Miami bachelorette party for the bride-to-be who’s looking for low-key excursions.
Go For Salsa Dancing Lessons
Nothing screams Miami like salsa dancing lessons and really, is there any better way to bond the bride tribe?
Dance the night away at with spicy salsa dancing lessons, live music, and delicious drinks.
Check out lessons at Mango’s or if you’re in town on a Thursday night, join in on the free lessons at Ball & Chain in Little Havana — this turns into one of the best weeknight parties in Miami.

Art Deco Architecture Along Ocean Drive
South Beach’s famous Ocean Drive is where you’ll find a huge collection of colorful, art deco architecture.
Art deco refers to a popular decorative style of the 1920 – 30’s, and is characterized by bold colors and geometric shapes.
This stretch is packed full of outdoor cafes, boutique shops, and beautifully renovated historic hotels. Walk, bike, or rollerblade while enjoying the timeless architecture and great views of the Atlantic Ocean.
Tip: Lummus Park, the party beach previously mentioned, is located off Ocean Drive. It’s easy to enjoy both the beach and Art Deco architecture in the same trip.
Exploring this area is a must, and one of the best things to do in Miami for a bachelorette party weekend!
Join An Art Deco Walking Tour
If you’re interested in Miami’s history and the fun Art Deco architecture of South Beach, then a walking tour is a great option.
The Miami Design Preservation League has offered guided walking tours of The Art Deco District for over 40 years.
All ticket proceeds go towards supporting the preservation.
Be sure to also check out this Miami Beach Food & Art Deco Walking Tour combo, perfect for the foodie bride-to-be.

Bike Ocean Drive
While we’re on the topic of Ocean Drive, a bike tour is another great way to learn about Miami while enjoying your bachelorette party weekend.
South Florida Trikke Segway & Bikes offers a popular 1.5 hour tour, suitable for all skill levels.
Prefer to go at it yourself? Rent bikes and explore South Beach’s Art Deco District at your own pace.
Pool Party Or Pool Day
Miami is most well-known for beaches and rockin’ parties on Ocean Drive.
However, in recent years they’ve upped their game in the pool party department.
Check out The Clevelander, Hyde Beach at SLS South Beach, or Mondrian South Beach — each offers live DJs, private cabanas, and cold drinks for the ultimate in luxe pool parties.
Reservations and spend-minimums are standard at many Miami pool parties.
If you’re not up for a full-blown rager by the pool don’t worry, most Miami hotels have great outdoor pools with luxury private cabanas and poolside service — without all the other hoopla.

Miami Design District
In the Miami Design District you’ll find contemporary art installations, museums, high end boutiques and name brands — the likes of Gucci and Dior — and jewelry shops.
Not to mention, some of the finest dining establishments in Miami.
The neighborhood is full of public art displays, the most prominent of which is the Fly’s Eye Dome, designed by Buckminster Fuller.
Spend an afternoon here exploring the shops and art displays, then grab a nice dinner.
Tip: The Miami Design District is located near Wynwood Walls, and not too far from the popular Downtown Miami neighborhood, Brickell.
Kayak Or Stand Up Paddle Board With Manatees
Explore a lush mangrove jungle as you wind through narrow canals near Oleta River State Park.
During this stand up paddle tour you’ll be on the lookout for all different types of wildlife including manatees, iguanas, birds, crabs, fish, even possibly dolphins.
You can book this popular tour here: Kayak or Stand Up Paddle Board Wildlife Expedition.
This is one of the best Miami bachelorette party things to do for the bride-to-be who loves outdoor adventures.
Keep in mind, manatees are most commonly spotted in this area November – March. It is not common to see them during the summer months.
Prefer a glass-bottom kayaking tour instead? Check out this popular tour in North Miami: Clear Bottom Kayak Tour Through Mangroves.

Mimosas, pop hits, and over-the-top entertainers are all drag brunch staples.
This boisterous affair is the perfect way to kickoff, or wrap-up, a Miami bachelorette weekend.
Check out R. House Wynwood, Sweet Liberty Drinks & Supply Company, or Palace Bar for the most popular drag brunch in the Magic City.
Most venues offer group seating, which includes your seat to the show and a variety of food items, plus bottomless mimosas.
Be sure to make reservations ahead of time, especially for the highly popular Sunday drag brunch.
Shop Bayside Marketplace
As you’d expect from the name, Biscayne Bay surrounds this massive market in the heart of downtown Miami.
The market is the city’s most visited tourist attraction, and for good reason.
Bayside Marketplace has both independent boutiques and name brand stores, making it a great place to enjoy world-class shopping during your Miami girls weekend.
This is also where you’ll find Miami’s Skyview Observation Wheel, which offers excellent views of the Miami skyline and Atlantic Ocean.

Where To Stay In Miami
South Beach is most likely where you’ll want to stay when visiting Miami. South Beach refers to the southern tip of Miami Beach.
Miami Beach itself is primarily inhabited by retirees and families, but South Beach is whole different animal.
Here you’ll find celebs and models frequenting some of the world’s best nightlife, Instagram-worthy beaches, and luxury oceanfront hotels.
Note: Miami proper, or “downtown” Miami is a different city than Miami Beach. Miami Beach is the small barrier island near Miami. If you’d prefer to stay downtown, I’d recommend Brickell.
Best Hotels For A Miami Bachelorette Party
There’s no shortage of luxury hotels perfect for a bachelorette party weekend.
These are some of the best for a Miami bachelorette party weekend:
- 1 Hotel South Beach
- W South Beach
- Andaz Miami Beach
- Delano South Beach (this is where we stayed but it’s temporarily closed, slated to reopen early 2026. If I was to book another Miami bachelorette party in the meantime, we’d stay at 1 Hotel South Beach).
- Fontainebleau Miami Beach
- Mondrian South Beach
- Dream South Beach
Snag a hotel with a private beach area, such as Andaz Miami Beach, 1 Hotel South Beach , or Delano South Beach so you don’t have to worry about lugging around your own lounge chairs and umbrellas all weekend.

Getting Around Miami
South Beach is very compact, so traffic and parking can be a headache, as well as expensive.
Save yourself the trouble and don’t rent a car unless you’re planning day trips outside of town.
Uber and Lyft are readily available in Miami, though walking or biking is ideal, if possible, to avoid traffic.
Allow plenty of time to get around town.
Getting a large group around is hard enough, but factor in Miami traffic (which is relentless at all hours) and you’ll quickly find yourself running late to happy hour.

As you can see, there’s no shortage of fun things to do in Miami for a bachelorette party weekend. I hope you’ve found this helpful in planning your visit and have the best time!
