10 Best Hotels In Telluride, Colorado

Telluride is one of the best mountain destinations in Colorado. While it’s most famous for winter and spring skiing, summer and fall are just as fabulous thanks to the area’s ample hiking trails and outdoor activities. No matter the time of year, you’ll also have access to excellent restaurants and shopping.

I live in Colorado and have visited Telluride numerous times (I even got engaged here!). It’s safe to say I love it — it’s truly one of the best mountain towns.

If you’re planning a visit and wondering where to stay, I’ve got you covered! Below are some of the best hotels in both Telluride and Mountain Village.

But first, a quick clarification: Telluride technically includes two towns — Telluride and Mountain Village — connected by a free gondola. Mountain Village is a resort-style town nestled in the heart of Telluride Ski Resort. Telluride, the larger and more historic town, sits at the base of the mountain and offers more dining, shopping, and things to do. When people say “Telluride,” they’re usually referring to both areas collectively.
