Christmas pop-up bars have become all the rage in recent years.

Imagine a festive bar with an explosion of Christmas decor, fake snow, and glittering lights. Couple that with themed cocktails and upbeat holiday tunes, you’ve got yourself a Christmas bar.

Wishing to visit a Christmas bar in Denver this year? Lucky for you, we have plenty of them! (DIA even has one now!)

I’ve lived in Denver most of my life and have visited many of these bars listed below. Read on for the best Christmas pop-up bars in Denver.

Best Denver Christmas Pop-Up Bars

Avantiki at Avanti Food & Beverage

Avanti Food & Beverage in LoHi has previously hosted Miracle at Avanti, but has been switching things up the past few years.

The entire second floor will be transformed into Avantiki, a beach-themed Christmas pop-up bar. Expect spiked egg nogs and boozy punch bowls, Santas in Hawaiian shirts, and hula dancers.

Avanti is known for great food, but unfortunately no food is allowed into Avantiki. However, the lower level is running as normal, meaning you can arrive early or stay late to grab food on the main level.

This is a favorite among Denver Christmas pop-up bars, so you’ll need to book reservations well in advance. 

Miracle at Union Station

Miracle pop-up bars are a national chain which take over local bars throughout the country each holiday season. They go over the top with kitschy holiday decor and festive drinks.

They’ve had a pop-up in Denver’s Union Station for years now and it’s always among the most popular. 

Expect delicious cocktails in Santa mugs, bright decor, and all the holiday vibes. They even have a Hanukkah table! 

Reservations need to be made well in advance for weekend visits, this one books out very quickly. Walk-ins are welcome based on availability.

Halcyon On Ice at Halcyon Hotel

Halcyon Hotel’s Rare Bird bar transforms into Halcyon On Ice each winter season.

This rooftop bar in Cherry Creek has great views of downtown, warm drinks, cozy blankets, even an ice-less ice skating rink. Plus, of course, all the Christmas feels. 

In addition to delicious holiday cocktails, they offer light bites and dinner.

For groups looking to up their Christmas pop-up experience, plan to book a winter cabana.

Reservations are required, and cabanas need to be reserved for an additional cost.  

Sleigh Bar at Milepost Zero

Sleigh Bar takes over Milepost Zero in McGregor Square each holiday season.

The large space is covered in floor to ceiling Christmas decorations, and features a seasonal cocktail menu and table s’mores kit. Plus, all food stalls remain open, so you’ll have a wide variety of dining options.

Milepost Zero does a ton of great holiday-themed events throughout December like holiday trivia, drag shows, and live music. Check out their full schedule here: Milepost Zero Events.

Best of all, there’s a large outdoor rink and giant Christmas tree just outside the Sleigh Bar. Spend an evening skating, then pop into the bar for a festive drink. 

No reservations are required for Milepost Zero’s pop-up Christmas bar.

Polar Bear Express at Señor Bear

The Polar Bear Express is Señor Bear’s annual Christmas pop-up. 

The restaurant is known for really delicious Latin-inspired food and drinks, which you can enjoy amid festive holiday decor.

This is a great spot for those who want a good dinner alongside their festive holiday-themed drinks.

Additionally, Señor Bear is centrally located in the Highlands, making this the perfect kicking off point for a fun night out.

Reservations should be made, especially for weekend visits. 

Pindustry On Ice

Pindustry is a really fun bar in Greenwood Village, with a bowling alley, arcade games, and lots of live entertainment.

During the winter months they have a large Sky Deck ice rink, called Pindustry On Ice. In the month of December it’s all decked out with holiday decor and Christmas music. 

Come to skate, enjoy festive drinks, and take in the excellent mountain views at Pindustry On Ice.

The Electric Cure’s Krampus Room

Electric Cure, located just off Sloan’s Lake, transforms their entire space into a holiday bar with naughty undertones come December.

To use their own words, The Krampus Room is a heathen cocktail bar “for those who prefer their holidays with a hint of horror.”

Despite the heathen undertones, it’s a fun atmosphere, with live DJ, drinks in Grinch mugs, and lots of eye-catching art work adorned in Christmas lights.

It’s first come, first served, so you may have to wait a bit on weekends.

Honor Farm’s The Ghosts of Christmas Past & Hell or High Water’s How The Grinch Stole Tiki

Honor Farm is a haunted-themed bar with great cocktails and Asian-influenced food. They also have a separate space, Hell or High Water, which is a naughty tiki bar. Both spaces transform into Christmas-themed bars come December. 

Honor Farm is The Ghosts of Christmas Past and Hell Or High Water is How The Grinch Stole Tiki. Both are spooky-Christmas-themed. This is great for those who like a sinister vibe at their Christmas pop-up. 

Expect inappropriate Christmas decor, festive drinks, and fun events. 

Weekends are walk-in only, reservations allowed during the week. 

Big Holiday Energy at Call To Arms Brewing Company

Looking for delicious craft brews at your Christmas pop-up? Cue, Call To Arms Brewing Company. 

This is a brewery which transforms into a Christmas wonderland each December. 

The bar sticks to the laid-back nature you’d expect from a Denver brewery, but goes all out with holiday decor, Christmas trees, classic Christmas movies, and fun events. They even have special holiday brews and pictures with Santa.

This will be the last event held at Call to Arms Brewing Company as they will be closing on December 22, 2025. 

Sippin’ Santa at Arvada Tavern

Sippin’ Santa at Arvada Tavern is another Christmas pop-up, this one hosted by Miracle Bar. 

The Arvada Tavern pop-up reflects a tropical holiday theme at Bernard’s Tiki Room (through the phone booth at the Arvada Tavern!). Enjoy the Christmas themed tiki drinks served in unusual mugs that are available for purchase.

Plan to stay for dinner or light bites alongside delicious drinks out of Instagram-worthy mugs.

Naughty List

Naughty List is a fun Christmas pop-up located at Tony Tenderonis in LoDo.

The pop-up is fitted out in colorful holiday decor, with fun back drops and naughty undertones. They also serve up adorable themed-drinks with good food amid Christmas music.

Blazing Bright at Fireside Bar & Grill – Inverness Hotel

Looking for a Christmas pop-up bar in the Tech Center? Blazing Bright at The Inverness Hotel is a great option. 

The hotel’s Fireside Bar & Grill is decked out in classic holiday decor. Their Christmas drinks are Instagram-worthy, the food is good, and the ambiance is a bit more subdued than most other Christmas pop-ups on this list. 

Reservations are a good idea for weekend visitors.

Felix Navidad at My Neighbor Felix

My Neighbor Felix is a much-loved Mexican restaurant in Denver. They have a few locations, but their LoHi venue really goes all out with Christmas decor. 

Enjoy their classic Mexican dishes and margaritas, but with some Christmas flare. This is perfect for those who want the full restaurant experience amid dazzling holiday decor. 

Reservations are not required but are recommended to enjoy this winter wonderland. 

Their Tech Center/ Centennial location is also decorated for Christmas but on a lesser scale. 

Death & Co.’s Holiday Suite

Looking for a more toned-down Christmas pop-up? 

Check out Death & Co.’s Suite 6A inside the Ramble Hotel. Each year they transform their space into the Holiday Suite. Here you’ll find holiday-themed craft cocktails and classic decor in a sophisticated setting.

Death & Co. does take limited reservations, otherwise they welcome walk-ins on a first come, first served basis. 

Winter Lodge At Peaks Lounge

This seasonal pop-up transforms Peaks Lounge on the 27th floor of the Hyatt Regency Denver into a cozy alpine-inspired Winter Lodge during the holiday season.

Expect warm, lodge-like decor and seasonal cocktails with skyline views high above downtown.

It’s a fun, elevated stop for festive drinks and a great perch for watching holiday lights or the Mile High Drone Show.

Snowdrift at Adrift Tiki Bar 

South Broadway

Snowdrift at Adrift Tiki Bar is one of the original Christmas pop-up bars in Denver. 

It’s located on South Broadway, near other nightlife, so this is a great stopping point during your night out this December.

Adrift’s Christmas pop-up takes on a tiki theme. Plan to enjoy holiday themed tiki drinks, like mojitos and punch bowls, with holiday movies playing in the background. They also have good food, from full meals to light bites. 

You’ll definitely want a reservation for this Christmas pop-up, especially on weekends. 

We visited on a Friday evening and got in without reservations. However, we were seated in the enclosed back patio, which doesn’t have as many decorations as the main space. 

White Elephant

Larimer Square

White Elephant is one of Denver’s newest Christmas pop-ups. It’s a Christmas-themed speakeasy located in Larimer Square.

They have festive holiday cheer in an underground setting, with fabulous specialty cocktails.

Its central location in Larimer Square makes this a great spot to pop in after dinner or drinks at one of the many surrounding restaurants. 

White Elephant is walk-in only, expect a wait on weekends.

Camp Christmas

Alright, this is not technically a pop-up bar. But it’s a Christmas pop-up experience with optional drinks.

I added this for those who want the pop-up bar experience without the booze. My sober friends, my pregnant friends, families with kids, I’m talking to you. 

Get all the vibes in a non-bar setting, and if your friends come along and want to drink, there are themed cocktails for them.

Camp Christmas is hosted by Denver Center for the Performing Arts, and located in The Stanley Marketplace in a former airplane hangar. 

The 360 degree, dazzling encounter is a Christmas sensory overload, perfect for a fun night out with family or friends.
